Educational Innovation in Physics

The Educational Innovation in Physics (EIP) initiative explores new ways to teach and learn scientific concepts of Physics. The goal is to create engaging, interactive experiences that foster autonomous exploration, gamification, and active learning. The activities presented here are the first examples of a broader series of projects covering diverse Physics topics.

Educational Innovation in Physics

Kepler's Law Initiative

These activities focus on exploring Kepler’s laws and planetary motion through interactive and engaging methods.

> Web simulation of Kepler's Law

This project find that students can investigate the behavior of planets using a web-based simulation, which allows them to manipulate parameters and observe the motion governed by the three laws. More details are described in this post (in spanish).

> Discovering the Planetary motion activity

An augmented reality experience provides a gamified environment where students interact with planets and guided chatbots to discover patterns and relationships in orbital motion. Together, these tools combine visualization, interactivity, and gamification to enhance understanding of planetary motion and promote autonomous, exploratory learning.
